Blank LF
 (Australia)
I get an error from receiving servers saying that I have a Blank LF. This only happens when I use the forward feature in exchange (I forward all mail addressed to me to my mobile phone account), mail addressed directly from an account on my server goes through ok. If I turn ORFilter off it forwards email fine, only when it's on do forwards bounce with this "Blank LF" error. Any pointers on how I can fix it? ORFilter is off at the moment and I'd love to turn it back on to stop all this spam.

I take it Re: Blank LF
 (Australia)
I take it no-one is working on any resolutions to the problems that have been raised with ORFilter. It's a shame becase it's pretty good besides a few little bugs. Anyone know of something similar that is being actively developed?

Re: Blank LF
 (N/A)
No sure if this project is still active or not. Where is the Blank LF being generated within the messages that are getting forwarded? I'm assuming something somewhere is getting appended to the original message...

RE: Blank LF
 (Australia)

Sorry, "Bare LF" not Blank LF.

Not sure where in the header it's being modified as I don't know much about how it works however if you check the properties of an email that's been through ORF you can clearly see the filter points awarded to the email so it's changing something. As far as I can tell it's the inbound change that causes the problem as I can send to my external account with ORF turned on, just not forward mail that's come in through ORF. Below is a copy of the link that appears in the Exchange log on my server when it fails. The link below also explains Bare LF in more detail.

Thanks,

Brenton
