Can I disable filtering of outgoing mail?
 (United States)
Is it possible to set ORFilter so that it will not scan outgoing mail messages and so that it will only add headers to incoming messages?

The reason I ask is because it seems that Comcast has begun completely dropping any messages sent from my exchange server while the ORFilter service is running. I don't even get undeliverable or rejection messages. However when I stop the service everything gets through.

I think Comcast is simply dropping my messages because of the additional headers that ORFilter adds. Hence if I can send mail without those headers, I can leave deliverly and spam analysis up to the receiving email server.

Re: Can I disable filtering of outgoing mail?

use the whitelists, mine doesn't check outgoing email.

 <ipwhitelist>
  <address enabled="true">127.0.0.1</address>
  <address enabled="true">192.168.0.0</address>
  <address enabled="true">external IP address here</address>
 </ipwhitelist>
 <smtpwhitelist>
  <address enabled="true">@yourdomain.local</address>
  <address enabled="true">@yourdomain.com</address>
  </smtpwhitelist>
