Hello !

Am a newbe  on ORfilter. The service installed perfectly, and i can send mail out. But no incoming mail is coming through, until the ORfilter service is stopped.  It schould not take more than 20 minutes to make the checks and forward mails that are good ( e.g. no spam )

Any ideas ?

I have the same problem. I receive over 4000 error alerts a day in the Event Viewer of my Windows 2000 server ("Error connecting to pipe \\.\pipe\Connect . Internal error: 2"). It all stops when I start the ORFilter service (which was disabled my the previous technician because of what follows). As soon as I started the service, I received calls from my users telling me there was a problem with receiving e-mails so I turned the service back off.

So, I have the choice between having no mails sent to my users, or being spammed by alerts (from an anti-spam, kinda ironic). You can be sure we won't be installing this product when we upgrade our servers until this issue has been resolved.

I had the same problem, followed the recommendation from goatjello on 12/12/2006 10:51:29 PM and his recommendation worked great.
