Misdirected rejection messages
 (N/A)
ORfilter users:

Please disable your automatic rejection messages. These messages go to the forged email address in the spam - these addresses are sometimes spam-traps, and you wind up getting yourself listed on spam-blocking blacklists. Ironic, eh?

ORfilter maker:

Please remove this idiotic automatic rejection feature, or at least make it non-default and warn your users against using it. If you cannot verify the source address on the message, you should not send mail to it. Please see this FAQ from spamcop on the subject:

http://www.spamcop.net/fom-serve/cache/329.html#bounces

Thank you for your consideration. BL admins do not want to block innocent sites, but when you send out these misdirected autoresponses to spam-traps, you make that difficult. You are 99% sure the message is spam, so why respond to it!? You can be practically certain you will send that message to the wrong place!
