Installation problems

I'm running Windows 2000, Exchange 2000, up to date with service packs and .NET framework.  I just installed ORFilter and accepted all defaults.  I've verified in Exchange that localhost has permission to relay.  When I start the service I don't seem to be receiving any emails and if I try to send an email I get "connection was interrupted" from Outlook 2000.  Nothing is recorded in server Event Log.  Am I missing something?  I didn't modify the xml configuration file.  Any help appreciated.

Have you modified the orconfig.xml to allow your exchange server to send e-mail?

Ex:

<ipwhitelist>
   <address enabled="true">127.0.0.1</address>
   <address enabled="true">70.166.1.196</address>
</ipwhitelist>

The default installation includes 127.0.0.1.  I added the server's explicit IP address as well.  This had no effect.

Seeing this in the event log: Error Connecting to pipe \\.\pipe\Connect. Internal error: 2

Any ideas?

I figured out the problem - two of the spamlists were no longer active. I listed only bl.spamcop.net and virbl.dnsbl.bit.nl and the errors went away and mail is being delivered.  I think it's working now.
